Madame Evangeline Dubois

Vocal Performance

Madame Dubois is a renowned vocal coach with over 30 years of experience. Specializing in opera, jazz, and contemporary vocal techniques, she has mentored numerous students who have gone on to perform on stages around the world. Her teaching style emphasizes breath control, vocal projection, and stage presence. She holds a Masters in Music from the Juilliard School and has performed with the New Orleans Opera Association for over a decade. Madame Dubois brings a wealth of knowledge and a genuine passion for vocal performance to Harmonix Academy.

Professor Jean-Baptiste Le Roux

Instrumental Music

Professor Le Roux is a highly respected instrumentalist and educator with a focus on jazz, blues, and classical music. He is proficient in guitar, piano, trumpet, and saxophone, and has performed with some of the most influential musicians in New Orleans. He is the recipient of the New Orleans Jazz Heritage Award for his contributions to the local music scene. Professor Le Roux's teaching philosophy centers on developing a strong foundation in music theory and technique while encouraging students to explore their own unique musical voices. He holds a PhD in Music from Tulane University.

Seraphina Moreau

Dynamic Dance Program

Seraphina Moreau is a celebrated dancer and choreographer with extensive experience in ballet, jazz, hip-hop, and contemporary dance. She has trained at some of the most prestigious dance academies in Europe and has performed with leading dance companies around the world. Seraphina's teaching style is both challenging and supportive, focusing on technique, artistry, and self-expression. She is dedicated to helping students develop their full potential as dancers and performers. She also runs a local dance troupe, giving her students the chance to perform live.

Remy Chevalier

The Art of Acting

Remy Chevalier is an acclaimed actor and director with a career spanning stage and screen. He has starred in numerous theatrical productions and independent films, earning critical acclaim for his performances. Remy's teaching approach emphasizes character development, improvisation, and scene study techniques. He is committed to helping students develop their craft and prepare for successful careers in acting. Mr. Chevalier brings years of experience on stage to Harmonix Academy. Remy studied at the Actors Studio in New York City.

Odette Bernard

Music Theory & Composition

Odette Bernard is a dedicated music theorist and composer, holding a doctorate in musicology. She excels in teaching complex musical concepts in an accessible and engaging manner. Her expertise lies in counterpoint, harmony, and orchestration. Students under her tutelage consistently display a robust understanding of musical structure and form, enabling them to excel in advanced instrumental and vocal studies. In addition to teaching, Odette is an active composer, writing for small ensembles and orchestra. She has also been commissioned to write music for local theater productions.

Thibault Delacroix

String Instruments Specialist

Thibault Delacroix is a virtuoso violinist and a dedicated instructor with a specialization in string instruments. He started playing the violin at age five and is a graduate of the Paris Conservatory. Thibault is renowned for his patient teaching style and his ability to inspire students of all ages and skill levels. His performance experience includes solo performances with the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra. He is also a member of a popular local string quartet, providing students with networking opportunities and performance experience. His expertise includes both classical and contemporary string techniques.

Ballet & Contemporary Dance

Cecile Fontaine is a skilled instructor specializing in Ballet and Contemporary Dance. She trained at the most reputable ballet schools and studied various modern dance forms. Her classes focus on building core strength, developing proper alignment, and refining dance techniques. His expertise lies in method acting, script interpretation, and stage direction. Raphael's alumni have achieved considerable success in both stage and screen. He provides his students with practical experience by engaging them in community theater productions. Raphael believes that acting is a craft that requires both talent and rigorous training, and he's dedicated to helping his students hone their skills.
